Hungry already..dang mondays.

Breakfast:

Today, I have started my day off with a bowl of cinnamon Life cereal with low fat milk-approx 250 calories. I was going to eat lucky charms, but the little marshmallows were stale and squishy instead of light and fluffy. (so sad). I guess Life is healthier anyway.

Lunch:
No lunch today so far, unless you count the sparkling water. I'm quite hungry now and don't really have time to eat before work. I'm at school in Folsom right now and get out at 2:20pm and work in Downtown Sacramento at 3:30pm. I still have to run home in Rancho Cordova to change into my work clothes and straighten my hair. Maybe I can grab some Taco Bell on the way home. (I know..so unhealthy. Maybe I'll get it fresco style.)

I might try to find my nutrition program CD. It was an awesome program that I used that I could input my daily food and it would analyze it for me and tell me what I'm getting too much of (generally sodium) and getting too little of (generally omega 3 cause I never eat seafood). Maybe another day.

EDIT: For Lunch, I had 2 fresco style Taco Bell soft tacos, and 1 regular style, which according to taco bell's nutrition calculator says it was a total calorie count of....580! The one regular taco had almost as many calories as the two fresco style ones. crazy. woo..but a whoppin 1900mg of sodium.

For Snack (which was pretty much directly after lunch on my way to work, I had a cinnamon applesauce, which is about 4 oz. and had 80 calories.

Also, when I got to work I had about 1 1/2 cup berries which is approx 100calories.

Dinner:

For dinner, I had the cooks at my work make something not on the menu. Tagliatelle (similar to fettuccine), about 1/3 cup broccolli, 1/3-1/2 cup chicken, some garlic pieces, and butter. My boss said it was probably around 400 calories. and that 3 the ciabatta pieces I ate were about 60 calories each..so a total of 180 calories, but I dipped it in about 1 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. wow! 120 calories per tbsp. crazy. I didn't have all the oil though, so we'll say 80 calories. I also had 12 oz of sprite, which is 140 calories.

almost forgot, Late Night Snack

Kevin and I shared a rootbeer float from Denny's, which has 430 calories. (I ate most of it, so I'll say I had 300 calories). Then I had some oatmeal, with about a tablespoon of brown sugar and a 1/2 tbsp of whipped margarine (25 calories). I didn't use the milk because it was liquidy enough. Oatmeal w/ about 8oz milk on Denny's website is 270 calories. wow a 10oz milk at dennys is 130 calories, so because I didn't use the milk my oatmeal was only about 170 calories.

Total calories for the day: 2305! crazy. That's way over where I want to be. Its the simple things I could have cut out, like the bread pieces, or the soda, or the root beer float. Oh well.

  1. Find the disk! That sounds awesome. I wish I had something like that!

You should try to pack snacks/food for school and on your way to work! It's not good for your blood sugar to wait so long to eat. You'll start to feel tired, but really it's just because you're hungry! Start packing snacks! And if you go to Taco Bell, definitely get the fresco!

  2. Good job posting all the calories for the day! Your dinner looked awesome... I'm jealous! Haha. Even though you're over your calories, at least you have an idea of what you eat some days, and can make adjustments!
