Breakfast:
For breakfast, I made a fritatta. It was my first time making it and was pretty simple. I posted the recipe on my recipes page. For one wedge it's only about 175cal! I only had about half a banana, with a quarter of it on a piece of peanut butter toast. mmmm. so yummy, but had so many calories in the one little thing. Had a total of 220cal. So my breakfast was a total of 395 cal. I had woke up and decided to make Kev breakfast before school (about 9:30am) and I think he liked it, so I think it's a winner! I think it could have had something else to it though, maybe finely chopped spinach or something. I also had a 16.9Fl OZ bottle of water with breakfast. It's easier to drink the water bottles then the fruit punch I have, because I don't want to wash a cup. haha.
Lunch:
I didn't get to make a lunch before I left the house today, so I had to wait until after class to eat, about 2:30pm. So I grabbed two Taco Bell fresco style soft tacos (total of 360cal). On my way home I was wishing I had bought a water bottle from Taco Bell because there was a terrible accident on the freeway and it slowed traffic to a snail crawl, which in turn made me 15min late to work and I didn't get the things down that I wanted to.
Snack:
I had a Special K 90cal strawberry bar. I think I agree with Jessica the strawberry is better than the chocolate. (Gasp! I can't believe I just said something was better than chocolate. I must be crazy) I had also grabbed a banana, but I didn't feel like eating it quite yet. I did grab another water bottle though and found its pretty easy to drink one bottle on my 15min drive to work. I left for work at about 3:20pm today.
When I got to work, I couldn't resist one of our oatmeal raisin cookies (and I should have). My manager estimated it to be 400calories. That is crazy. Because our restaurant has less than 25 restaurants in California, we don't have to provide nutritional information, which is a total bummer to me. I also ate 2 chips, but I mean how many calories could those have? According to Fitday a potato chip has 7.5cal, so my two chips were a total of 15 calories! bleh. stupid chips. At our restaurant the way they make homemade chips is just thinly slice potatoes, fry them in oil, and throw some salt on 'em. pretty basic but sooo tasty! I think at work I had also drank about 18FL OZ of water before I had dinner.
Dinner:
I had my tagliatelle creation, but this time I added asparagus and reverted back to butter. It was pretty tasty except my asparagus was a little too crunchy for my pasta and the cooks were making fun of me because I asked for garlic but picked it out. I told them I like the flavor cooked in it but not to eat the pieces. This pasta was about 505cal. So they told me to ask for minced next time. I also drank about another eh..12fl oz of water with dinner (around 9:30pm). Then, it was time to leave work and all the crazy stuff that I talked about above happened.
By the end of this posting I got someone to agree to come take a look at my car at about 5pm today. I'm trying to get my shift covered so I hope one of the girls responds back with a yes. And I'm missing class today because I dont feel like spending hours on busses and light rail today. My groupmates aren't going to be too happy as we're doing an experiment in class. Hey they can't say I didn't do anything. I did create the powerpoint presentation they need to do the experiment and I'll be back on Thursday to help them analyze the data. Well, I'm off to work on my Research Paper.
Total Calories for Monday: 1675
Total Water: 63.8fl oz
I just need to come work at your restaurant so I can have delicious free dinners! haha, it always looks so good, and I've never eaten there before!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love my toast like that with the banana, mmmm mm good! I think I'm going to try the fritattas. I haven't made one in a long time, so I totally forgot...but yours looks great. I need to add some more recipes to my page. Hopefully I can do more work on my site this weekend.
Good job and keep it up!!!
